Sharon Machrone

Sharon is a leadership coach and organizational development specialist who helps executives and groups create and sustain vibrant and satisfying professional lives in the context of corporate success.

She has more than 25 years of senior-level management experience in companies of all sizes, and has both worked in and consulted to a broad range of industries at the corporate, national, and international level.

Sharon is an expert in building business functions that position companies for growth. She supported and helped grow the financial organization at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and was VP of Human Resources for Thomson Financial - the global financial publishing giant - where she designed the company's HR and Training & Development functions. Before Thomson, she served in both staff and line functions in a number of retail, healthcare, and high-tech companies. And although she doesn't know a wing nut from a Phillips screwdriver, she currently sits on the Board of Directors for a Massachusetts-based manufacturing company.

A long-time student of the leadership process, Sharon has participated in many specialized programs, including those at the Center for Creative Leadership, the University of Michigan, and Columbia University. She is certified as a Professional Coach by the International Coach Federation, and has completed Professional Mastery, an intensive, two-year leadership coaching program with Dr. Richard Strozzi Heckler at the Strozzi Institute. She is also a certified Focus Group director.

Sharon is also the principal and founder of Bella Vita Consulting (www.bellavitaconsulting.com) where she does personal and lifestyle coaching for private clients.

A founding member of the Divine Divas/Broadway Babes, Sharon lives in Richmond, Virginia with Max, the Wonder Dog, whose favorite activity is watching "Designed to Sell " on HGTV while Sharon is on assignment.
