Linda
Dini Jenkins With more than 25 years in communications, Linda has a special expertise in strategic creative development that comes from superior listening and analytical skills. She was an account manager at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising (New York); copy manager for the in-house communications group at Thomson Financial; director and co-founder of a private investment banking firm; and general manager of a boutique ad agency in New York City. Growing up on the management side of advertising, Linda learned early on the difference between "words that work" and hype. As a student of business, she is uniquely positioned to provide solid copy that solves clients' problems, and she works with a number of graphic designers who approach projects the same way. Over the years, Linda has produced business plans, annual reports, corporate brochures, training manuals, direct marketing campaigns, benefits and policy manuals (the kind that actually get read), web sites, journalistic copy and more projects than she cares to remember. She is cofounder of the New York Venture Group and the New Venture Workshop of the Harvard Business School Club of New York and sits on the board of the Hamilton Hall World Affairs Lecture Series in Salem, Mass. She is also a founding member of the Divine Divas/Broadway Babes, a group dedicated to bringing world-class musical events to the North Shore of Boston. A published poet and playwright, Linda is also a creative writing workshop trainer. She lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband Timothy, and Maxine, the Wonder Dog. |
